Halloween
This Halloween was a little different from all the other Halloweens, I actually let the kids pick what they wanted to be this year. Hunter wanted to be a vampire. Mason wanted to be a knight, however, when he was watching me paint Hunter's face and spray his hair black he all of a sudden changed his mind and wanted to be a vampire too. As you can tell by the big frown on Mason's face he was not very excited about be a knight anymore.

Hunter's Field Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
I got to go with Hunter on his field trip to the pumpkin patch and the corn maze. The kids had a very fun time. Each kid got to pick a pumpkin to take home with them. After the pumpkin patch and corn maze we went to the park and had lunch. On the way home from school Hunter kept telling me, "I am so glad you came with me." It is interesting how the little things we do for children mean a lot to them.

Claire and Bryant Watch on the Side Lines
Saturday is Now Soccer Day
Hunter and Mason have started playing soccer. Hunter loves to play and is very aggressive. They have played three games and he has scored all of the goals so far. Mason, however is the youngest one on the team and only likes to play Goalie. Needless to say it has been a great way for my boys to run off some energy.

Life With Three Boys
Morning, noon, and night my boys like to wrestle and rough house with each other. A couple of years ago I always tried to stop them from wrestling each other because it was really loud and annonying to me, but it never stop. So I gave up and now we have made rules, "No biting, No pinching, No spitting, JUST WRESTLING." At my very best attempt of keeping things safe still someone always starts crying or gets mad. However, within 20 minutes of things calming down and everyone fine, they start up again. I have come to terms that boys are different than girls. However, it is still very difficult to understand why they do what they do. I do not know if I will ever fully understand the male gender, so all I can do right now is PRAY FOR A LOT OF PATIENCE!!

Mason's Birthday
Mason has to be my most unpredicable child. He told me two days before his birthday that he did not want cake for his birthday he just wanted ice cream. I then told him okay that was fine but how are you going to blow out any candles? So we compromised on an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen, which he LOVED and everyone else in the family did too.
